nome dos impressores foi dada à estampa em Mainz, 1462, pelos
sócios de É também o primeiro livro na história da imprensa ocidental a conter uma marca de impressor porque abaixo do colophon, Fust e Schoeffer acrescentaram uma xilogravura dos seus escudos de armas. Impressa em caracteres góticos, com iniciais impressas a rubro e a azul, é uma das primeiras quatro bíblias impressas com tipos móveis. Embora mais recente, os exemplares completos desta Bíblia
são mais raros do que os da Mainzer Catholicon, 1469
