Albert Kapr (1918-1995)

German type designer, typographer, calligrapher, author and educator, He was art director at the Dresden type foundry VEB Typoart from 1964 until 1977.

He founded and led the Institut für Buchgestaltung at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst at Leipzig from 1956 until 1978.
